Streamlined Building Process

Building your dream home is a breeze with Bluerock. We have a detailed process and established relationships here in Utah which will set you up for an exceptional building experience.

  • During PreConstruction, we work with you and your design team to bring your vision to life. Over the course of this process we define the scope of the project, prepare a detailed budget, and create a building schedule. We help with cost optimization, funding, and approvals. Once the design is complete and building permits are in hand, we start construction.

  • During construction, Bluerock will maintain clear communication with you through regular meetings, photos, and updates of your build. Our construction experts ensure plans, specifications, and details are followed by regularly inspecting for quality and craftsmanship and making adjustments and corrections as needed. From groundbreaking to the final inspection, you can trust Bluerock to get the job done right.

  • The building journey has come to an end, and now you can move in. With the finishing touches complete, turn your house into a home by decorating it exactly the way you imagined. Relax, and let your new home take care of you for many years to come.

Our process includes regular project team meetings, walk-throughs, detailed budget and schedule update emails, and daily group text check-ins. You have 24/7 access to our open-book budgets, cost tracking, ongoing checklists, and project photos. We don’t move forward with key project decisions without your input.

  • We make kindness a high priority not only in our relationships with our clients, but with the entire project team of municipal officials, design and engineering professionals, subcontractors, suppliers, client household members, and neighbors. Dave Whitaker has been a builder since he was a teenager. He started Bluerock in 2018 after gaining extensive work experience and earning BS & MS degrees in Construction Management from BYU in Provo, Utah. Dave understands that a thoughtfully designed home will improve your quality of life and well-being. His passion is leading the Bluerock Team in accomplishing this for you.
