From Humble Beginnings

Dave Whitaker originally founded Bluerock in 2010 during the months leading up to his graduation from Brigham Young University with a Construction Management degree. A year after graduation, he took a job with a construction company in Hawaii. Five years later, he made the tough decision to return to Utah in order to complete a Master’s Degree in Construction Management.

Shortly after completing the Master’s program, he reignited his dream of business ownership and Bluerock was reborn in 2018. Nothing lights him up more than leading his team in building custom homes and transforming existing ones to make them better places to live.
